Jiaming has always been in transition, moving between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. When his mother takes him to an international high school in Southeast Asia, he faces new uncertainties. At his temporary school’s construction site, a supposedly “living” dinosaur egg is discovered. What starts as an archaeology club prank soon takes a strange turn—his body begins to change, and he believes he is evolving.Growing up is a migration with no return. Standing before a dinosaur’s footprint in the tropical rainforest, he wonders if he still believes in miracles.
